Jana KlenburgJana L. Klenburg was born in Mexico City and spoke both Spanish and Yiddish for the first 20 years of her life. She earned a Masters Degree at Mexico’s National University in drama and became a multiple award winning actress, performing in movies, her own TV programs, and leading roles in the theatre-classical, avant-garde, and soap operas. She has given many poetry readings, since age 17, and continues to this day. Jana learned English at age 20 and moved to New York City at age 27, where she appeared in four Off-Broadway plays, Shakespeare in the Park, and as a star in a CBS-TV soap opera for a number of seasons. She has written poetry exclusively in English, since she moved to the United States. She holds a PHD in psychology, has a thriving private practice in New York City, and leads numerous workshops and lectures widely. She has served on the faculty at the New Seminary and The American Psychotherapy Seminar Center. Jana has deepened her spirituality through Judaism, Eastern philosophies, and Christian principles as well as being a devoted student-practitioner-teacher of “A Course in Miracles” for 21 years. A potter, artist,
and jewelry maker, Jana’s talents found no greater fulfillment
than in her children Ilana and Dimitry, her “deepest and sweetest
